Melvin Wong is an award-winning tech entrepreneur with 20 years of experience and with global business experience in 17 countries covering the U.S., Europe, Asia, and South America. Melvin sold his online sports games company and an online memorial platform.

Melvin Wong has 15 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and most recently managed to get two of his startups to be mentioned by ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok. He has ranked many of his own websites on top of Google Search results and has helped many other startups to do so.

Training is Melvin’s passion, and he has published multiple online courses on Udemy. His course about security tokens was quoted in the book – “Digital Finance: Security Tokens and Unlocking the Real Potential of Blockchain”.

He also trained engineers in Singtel, Singapore’s largest telecom company, and Celcom, Malaysia’s second largest telecom organization.

He did his share of mentoring with The South Bay Entrepreneurial Center in Los Angeles and AngelHack. Besides that, He was a 3-time mentor for Malaysia Developers’ Day hackathon with AT&T (U.S) in Malaysia (2013, 2014, 2015) and judge/mentor for D3 mobile apps hackathon (2014) as well as Appster Boss hackathon (2015). I was a mentor at the Angelhack hackathon in Los Angeles in 2016 and Seoul in 2024.

Throughout his career as an entrepreneur, Melvin received and won industry honors and awards, including the Excellence Award from Global Innovation Through Science & Technology (GIST) (U.S, 2013), winner of TIE Global All-Asia Business Competition (India, 2012) and winner of Malaysia National Intellectual Property Awards with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) (Malaysia, 2014). Melvin also won the Make The Pitch business TV reality show in 2012. He was also the country representative in the Global Entrepreneurship Week event in the U.S White House in 2012 and was a speaker at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, officiated by President Barack Obama in Malaysia in 2013. He was also a speaker for the iGaming Congress in Macau in 2012. In 2018, He was the speaker at Venture Frontier Lanka.

Melvin has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Degree in Electrical & Electronic from The Nottingham Trent University, U.K.
